what does micro pave mean?

I always see that word on earrings and did not know what it means. and also, do you think theres a chance I could find real diamond earrings for $ 100 or less?

WHAT IS MICRO pave the term "micro pave" refers to the current style of jewelry where the quantities of small stones set in jewelery. Pavé literally means paved, paved with stone, like an old street may be paved with cobblestones. Surface contains many closely spaced stone. What is different in the definition used today is the word micro and setting styles. In recent years, Pope described both the idea of multiples of stone distance very careful to cover the metal and the setting method. Stones were generally prepared by using what is called the pearl setting. Each stone was placed in a carefully drilled and tapered hole in metal, stone placed there and then metal pushed over the edge of the stone. A tool was used to create a pearl which branch of stones and excess metal was cut away. The look is very clean and tidy, to create an illusion of the eye in a sea of gems. Stone may be of a reasonable size. Today the term refers to micro pave a very close set of tiny gemstones. Micro refers to the small sizes of gems. The diamonds can vary from less than a millimeter to a very slightly larger. Real diamond sizes can be as small as 0.005 ct and generally are not larger than 0.01 carat in these micro-design. Setting is often of the old method of gem setting, but is often done with tiny prongs thrown in the ring body to begin with .. Rings may have two or three rows of diamonds onto the shoulders of the ring and the sides of the ring may have many diamonds in place. Some have even these small diamonds in the spring contacts holding the central diamond (or other selected stones). I doubt you will be able to find real diamonds in this sought less than 100
